For nearly a decade, Nicolaisen has worked closely with Factum Arte to explore hidden landscapes – from the interior of glaciers to the shadowed strata of Australia’s Pilbara and the surfaces of comet 67P. The exhibition presents works from Nicolaisen’s series «Restlicht», created in Switzerland and Iceland between 2004 and 2016. It invites visitors to explore the fragile boundary between what exists and what is passing, reflecting the passage of time.
